Beginner Sewing

Space is limited for all classes. Please call or come in to register. We do not take registration requests online (through email or social media). For your space to be secured, payment must be made in full. For more information on any of our classes, please give us a call or inquire in-store.

Beginner Machine Embroidery


March 20, 2025

1PM - 4PM

Cost: $60

 

Introduction to various types of thread, machine needles, stabilizers, hoops, embroidery scissors and other embroidery tools. 

Topics include how to wind a bobbin, thread machine, clean machine, measure fabric, cut fabric and stabilizer using a rotary cutter, determine how much space is needed around the machine, hoop stabilizer and fabric, load design and stitch out a design.

A machine for use during class will be provided. Students do not have to own a machine. If you own a machine, please bring your machine's manual. 

Students are to bring their own notebook and pen or pencil to take notes. 

Successful completion of this class is a prerequisite for all Kaimuki Dry Goods machine embroidery classes. 

 

All classes are subject to change. 

Registration closes 1 week prior to class. 

A $10 deposit is required at least 1 week prior to class.
